We at Mindset are committed to providing mental health services in a manner that is free from discrimination and harassment. We believe in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all individuals seeking support for their mental health needs. Our commitment to nondiscrimination extends to all aspects of our services, including our website, access to treatment, program participation, and employment.

Mindset does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected characteristic. We strive to ensure that all individuals, regardless of their background or identity, receive fair and equitable access to our mental health services.

Our program complies with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. We are dedicated to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities to ensure they can fully participate in our programs.

Our commitment to inclusivity is reflected in our:

  • Language Access Plan, ensuring that our programs and services are accessible to individuals with diverse language backgrounds.

  • Adherence to all ADA access requirements in our facility.

  • Utilization of web accessibility and print materials for visually impaired individuals.

  • Commitment and validation to always use your preferred name and pronouns.

  • Regularly scheduled staff trainings in cultural competency, supporting individuals living with disabilities, and identifying physical, attitudinal, or other barriers to access.

  • Responsiveness to any suggestions for improvements or accessibility concerns.

We strive to eliminate barriers and foster an environment where everyone can fully participate and benefit from our offerings. This statement outlines our commitment to providing language support, accessible spaces/communication, and to create an inclusive and welcoming experience for all members of our community.
